How to spot Racism?

I have often found that while debating the right and left racism isis often exagarated or down played.
How does one find a balance.
Racism exist and will always exist as long as people are on theplanet. So for some in the right to ignore racism is just dumb and canbe racist.
On the left they make create an enviroment wherepeople can not belive them.It is like the boy who cried wolf! How do you respond to this issue?

I have long argued that the only way racism can aptly be identified is through statistics.
Our relative group disparity between the majority group has to be the measurement of the latent and active effects of racism, because it can be argued that the initial disparities were the result of racism.
Most people use anecdotal evidence or assumptions.

Interesting..."must simply snap out of it"... Well, just for kicks - how does one "snap out" of under-funded public schools, racial profiling, discrimination in the home buying process, employment discrimination, and all of the other ailments we blame on the "white man"? Just let me know...I'm more than willing to help (in conservative speak, that means "pay for") print the response and distribute it to all of the struggling 'hoods at the twilights last gleaming.
