Tony Snow a Racist?

The DNC is accusing Tony Snow of being a racist.

In October 2003 Snow defended Rush Limbaughs controversial comments that Donovan McNabb was overrated and that reporters are disposed towards black quarterbacks.

The comment was not racist, Snow said but that did not stop political opportunists from accusing Rush of bias. Snow added, Here is the unmentionable secret.

Racism isnt that big a deal anymore. No sensible person supports it. Nobody of importance preaches it. It’s rapidly and thankfully becoming an ugly memory.

Of course the DNCs spokeperson had fun twisting of his words.

Amaya where was the DNC when Robert Byrd used the Nigger word on Snow's TV show?


On March 4, 2001, an interview with FOX News Sunday host Tony Snow was aired. In the interview Byrd was asked about race relations: "They are much, much better than they've ever been in my lifetime," Byrd said.

"I think we talk about race too much. I think those problems are largely behind us ... I just think we talk so much about it that we help to create somewhat of an illusion. I think we try to have good will. My old mom told me, 'Robert, you can't go to heaven if you hate anybody.' We practice that. There are white niggers. I've seen a lot of white niggers in my time. I'm going to use that word. We just need to work together to make our country a better country, and I'd just as soon quit talking about it so much."

I guess the DNC forgot that little interview!

Talk about having hutspah!

Maybe Amaya would like to tell us where she was when Byrd made
these comments?

Did she come out as fast on Byrd as she did on Tony Snow?

Byrd is a Senator and his actions affects the lives of millions of African Americans,
so why was he not attacked?
